FPL FiberNet to install fiber-optic cable on Glades Road in Palm Beach County

MIAMI, Fla. -- FPL FiberNet, the fiber-optic subsidiary of FPL Group, Inc., will install fiber-optic cable on Glades Road (State Road 808) in Palm Beach County on Sunday, Nov.18 starting at 9:00 p.m. and ending on Monday, Nov. 19 at 5:00 a.m. The project will start again on Monday, Nov. 19 at 9:00 p.m. and finish on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 5:00 a.m.
The installation of fiber-optic cable will reduce west-bound travel from three lanes to one on a 400-foot section of roadway located 500 feet east of Boca Ridge Drive on Glades Road. No detour route is planned.
