Timothy D. Young
Manager, Project Management Office

Timothy Young was appointed manager of the project management office of FPL FiberNet in August 2006. He is responsible for the design, engineering, construction and implementation of all network-related projects for FPL FiberNet. Young joined FPL FiberNet in 2000 as a senior sales engineer developing and designing solutions for customer applications.

Before joining FPL FiberNet, he served as a senior sales engineer with Enron Broadband Services. Prior to that, he was a senior technical consultant with Booz, Allen and Hamilton and also served as a senior design engineer with GE Aerospace/Lockheed Martin.

Young holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md.
